A valid Will is the only way that you can be sure that your wishes are carried out after your death. Making a Will is an easy, quick, and generally inexpensive process. Whatever the size of your estate, a Will ensures that you can use it to maximum effect and provide for those you are for and the causes that you support. A Will is also tax effective. Why Leave a Legacy to HospiceCare?
HospiceCare is almost entirely funded by donations. This year we expect our running costs to be around £1m to continue to meet the growing demand for our clinical services across North Northumberland. We will receive a small contribution from the NHS of around 5%, the rest we have to find from fundraising, Trusts, donations, our shops, and Legacies. By leaving a gift in your Will to HospiceCare your compassion and kindness will live on to ensure that we are able to continue to meet the growing demand for our care and support. Already have a Will?
While many aspects of your Will may remain the same as you go through life, some things may change prompting you to make changes. Rather than totally rewriting your Will, some people choose to write a Codicil. A Codicil is simply an addition to an existing Will. HospiceCare can provide you with this form if you wish to include the Hospice in your Will.. Funding is essential to ensure that families and carers in the future also continue to benefit from our care and support and benefit from high quality end of life care and support, in a place of their choosing, at the time of their need, for as long as they need it. All the legacy gifts we receive help and support the delivery of our clinical care and service in our local community.
