Family Support and Bereavement Support Services
Welcome to our Family Support & Bereavement Service
A death can often bring mixed thoughts and feelings, which is natural. If you are struggling or would like a space to talk through your feelings and thoughts, HospiceCare provides a range of services to support you. We offer an initial assessment with our counsellor to explore your needs and how our services in or out of the hospice, can support you.
Our Listening and Counselling Services
-
Our listeners are volunteers who are fully trained in bereavement and provide a safe confidential space to listen and support you with your grief.
-
Our counsellor is to support referrals that need more support such as trauma, and complex grief.
-
Both offer: 6 sessions, for 50 minutes, at both Alnwick and Berwick locations.
