HospiceCare North Northumberland

Caring for Life!

Lewis Denny

You may recognise Lewis as the young man who carried the Olympic Torch in Alnwick, chosen because of his charity work.

Lewis attends theatre school in Newcastle, runs his own entertainment company and also has a slot on Lionheart Radio Station. He is a big help in raising the profile of the Hospice within the local community by spreading the word on his travels and he supports us further as our very own singing star and DJ at fundraising events.

Look out for Lewis in your school! He’s hoping to come along with us when we talk to you about the work HospiceCare does and you can ask him what being a young ambassador is all about.

Meet Dominic Arthur one of our Young Ambassadors.

You too could be a future young ambassador, it’s a great way to gain all sorts of experience and of course you can put it on your CVs and references.

We need you to help spread the word about HospiceCare and volunteering within your peer group and we want to understand what type of fundraising events and volunteering opportunities appeal to you.

As a Young Ambassador, HospiceCare will help you put your fundraising ideas into action and make them a reality, whether that's holding a school assembly or an event like a coffee morning.
