Wooler Wheel 2018

The Wooler Wheel Borderlands Sportive is now in its 11th year and welcomes around 500 riders at each event. The Sportive offers rides of 170km, 100km and 60km plus a junior event for accompanied under 16’s 30km, so there’s something to suit each person’s level of fitness and offers a guaranteed great day of cycling and countryside.

Stunning scenery, challenging climbs, a series of cycle rides through 8,000 years of history within beautiful North Northumberland.

In support of HospiceCare, the Wooler Wheel organisers have kindly offered some free entries for HospiceCare supporters who are sponsored riders, for the 'Wooler Wheel Borderlands Sportive' cycling event which takes place on Saturday 6th October 2018. These will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis. Time to volunteer?

  • Have you thought about volunteering?

Our award wining team of volunteers saved us over £170,000  in the hours they donated to the hospice last year.

Infact, we would not be able to offer our vital clinical services without their generous committed and support.

If you would like to know more you can  either give us a call on telephone: 01665 606515 or by completing one of our enquiry forms.
