Here we are receiving a cheque yesterday for an incredible £7,700 from local business, Advantech Innocore. The money they have donated will support one month of overnight care of our Hospice at Home services and to say we are excited and rather chuffed, is a teeny understatement!

“Blackshaws is delighted to provide another vehicle to HospiceCare to help Sue Gilbertson and her team support families all over north Northumberland in times of need. HospiceCare home visits are vital to the local community and the Suzuki Jimny 4x4 which we’ve provided for their use will allow the team to reach even the most remote places whatever the driving conditions. We greatly value our partnership with HospiceCare as it provides us with an opportunity to give something back to the local community.” Sue Blackshaw.
On receiving the keys, Sue Gilbertson said ‘the Jimny has been an invaluable vehicle for our clinical team to use, It has ensured that whatever the weather, we have been able to continue to deliver our Hospice at Home services to some of the most rural parts of North Northumberland.”
